On this trip you will get to know the breathtaing history of Xhantos, explore the Saklıkent Gorge, Enjoy a tasty BBQ and mezes at YAKAPARK, take pictures of incredible tombs at TLOS and play on the sandy beach at PATARA . . .
The day will start when we collect you in a comfortable and fully air-conditioned mini bus. Your tour guide then will give you an introduction for the day´s activities.
A 15-minute journey will bring you to Xanthos, the administrative capital of Lycia and a favourite of Alexander the Great and the Roman General Brutus. Your guide will show you the beautifully preserved ruins, including the Roman theatre, and tell you about the history of Xanthos.
You will then have a short drive to Saklikent Gorge (hidden paradise), where you will walk through the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey. Even though the temperature sometimes reaches 40C in the summer, the combination of the breeze and cold water will make you feel cool and refreshed. You can also do Rubber Ring Rafting at Saklikent Gorge.
After working up an appetite in the gorge you will have a traditional Turkish kebab and barbecue or trout served with many different mezes at Yakapark.
Next you will stop at Tlos to see some Lycian cave tombs, the Tlos citadel and to take pictures of the tombs and the panoramic views you see at Tlos.
To top the day off you will go to Patara where you can enjoy the sand and the surf on the world-famous beach aswell as the Patara Ruins. Afterwards you will be taken back to your villa or hotel.
Price includes the entry fees for Xanthos, Saklikent Gorge and Patara Beach. Lunch at Yakapark is also included.
All drinks are extra.
What to bring
Rubber / water shoes, if you have, for walking in the gorge (If you don´t have any you can rent them for 3 TL in Saklikent.)

Normal daily attire is suitable and hats are recommended to protect you from the sun.
